Brief History of Baptist Christian School
Baptist Christian School began in 1965 as a ministry of First Baptist Church of Hemet. After beginning with only kindergarten and first grade, the school's program expanded to include pre-school through ninth grade by 1973. The rest of the high school grades (10-12) were added beginning in 1983 with the first high school graduation in 1986.

Accreditation
Baptist Christian School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

Faculty
The teachers at Baptist Christian School are well qualified academically and possess a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. They are conscious of the specific call of God to the ministry of Christian teaching and possess a knowledge and appreciation of the moral and spiritual needs of their students. All of our teachers have college degrees and certification through the Association of Christian Schools International, and some have graduate degrees.

BCS Team
The BCS Team is made up of First Baptist Church deacons. The FBC Shepherds are the final human authority in all matters relating to the school.
