Baptist Christian exists for the glory of God and the good of students.
We desire the same things for our students as the apostle Paul desired
for the believers at Colosse, as found in Colossians 1:3-14. Each student
who attains these things will be truly educated.
1. We desire that every student at Baptist Christian School have saving
faith in Jesus Christ. "We give thanks to the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith
in Christ Jesus..." (Colossians 1:3-4)
2. We desire that each student gain knowledge. "... we…do not cease
to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge
of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding..." (Colossians
1:9)
3. We desire that each student live in a way which pleases God. "...
that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him..." (Colossians
1:10)
4. We desire that each student be a fruitful Christian. "... being fruitful
in every good work..." (Colossians 1:10)
5. We desire that each student grow in the Lord. "... increasing in
the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His
glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering..." (Colossians 1:10-11)
6. We desire that each student be thankful. "...with joy giving thanks
to the Father..." (Colossians 1:11-12)
